Bear Creek is also home to the Stone House, a historic home built during the gold rush of the mid 1800s. The Stone House was also the first building in Lakewood placed on the National Register of Historic Places and is available to rent for major events.
Shopping in the area is quite abundant with several shopping centers in the immediate area such as the Jewell Square Shopping Center and the Brentwood Shopping Center. The Southwest Plaza houses a Target and Borders for the daily needs of those living within the Three Lakes community. Dining in the area can also be found at many of these shopping centers.
