Rainbow Ridge is a neighborhood in Arvada, Colorado in the Greater Denver area. It’s bounded by West 56th Avenue and along the Harold Lutz Sports Complex line to the north, Route 72 to the west, extending as far south as Ridge Road along an uneven line to the south, and winding along Miller Road to the east.
A newer subdivision with houses from the 1980s into the late 1990s, this is a desirable area with home values higher than the median for the area. The mostly single-family homes have the feel of the new west, with large windows to enjoy the big sky and mountain views. Built on wide streets with nice sidewalks, Rainbow Ridge has roomy houses to fit any family size. This is the kind of place where you would love to grow up.
Rainbow Ridge is close to the extensive parks and open spaces that dot the Colorado Landscape. Within walking distance is the Harold D. Lutz Sports Complex, with baseball fields, playgrounds, green space and picnic areas. The Van Bibber Creek Trail for hiking runs from there through the Rainbow Ridge Park to the Van Bibber Creek open space for walking dogs.
Sports fans have something to cheer for all year around in Rainbow Ridge. Being in the Greater Denver area, every professional sport is represented. Spend fall Sundays inside the confines of INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver, and you can watch the Denver Broncos of the National Football League play their home games. In spring, bring the crowds to Coors Field, at 2001 Blake Street in Denver to see the Colorado Rockies baseball team. In the fall, the Denver Nuggets of the NBA and the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL share time at the Pepsi Center at 1000 Chopper Circle in Denver. Supporters of the Colorado Rapids Football Club watch the major league soccer team in Dick’s Sporting Goods Park at 6000 Victory Way.
