Old Town Arvada is a historic neighborhood in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. It is bordered by Zepher Street to the west, Reed Street to the east, the I70 to the south and Ralston Road to the north. It is located northwest of downtown Denver. Olde Town Arvada has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has easy access to downtown Denver.
The streets in Olde Town are a nice mix of residential and commercial. There are wide sidewalks on both sides of the street, tall trees and it is a very attractive place to take a walk.
There is a mix of homes in this neighborhood. There are one and two-story homes, lots of front porches and well-landscaped yards. Most homes are single family and are considerably less expensive than Denver proper.
On Ralston Road there is a mix of residential and commercial. Arby’s Restaurant has a restaurant there.
There are lots of things to do in Olde Town Arvada from the Festival Playhouse to McIlvoy Park. There are many small locally-owned shops on almost every street.
In Olde Town a popular site to visit is the Arvada Flour Mill Museum which is part of the Arvada Historical Society. A tour is available of the mill. People visit the museum to learn about the history of this area of Colorado.
Landmark Olde Town Cinemas has 14 theaters offering a wide selection of movies for all ages. This is a great neighborhood to live in and to visit.
