The Millbrook neighborhood in Littleton, Colorado is five miles southwest of Downtown Littleton and is adjacent to the South Platte Reservoir. This neighborhood is bordered on the north by the Columbine Trail, one of the paved trails that wander through Littleton. The southern border is South Depew Street and the homes that face it. South Depew Street curves north and becomes the western border. The eastern border is South Platte Canyon Road (State Highway 75).
The Millbrook neighborhood is a mix of multi-unit dwellings and single family homes. Children attend the local Columbine Hills Elementary School, Ken Caryl Middle School, and Heritage High School.
Along South Platte Canyon Road are a few shops and eateries, but the major shopping is five miles north at the Southwest Plaza. This shopping center caters to families with preferred family parking, family restrooms, and a playground for the children. It also offers an escort service for shoppers and a team to jump start cars. A bus service is widely available and there are many routes in and out of the Plaza. When tired of shopping, the Raccoon Creek Golf Course is right across the street.
Historic Downtown Littleton is also a local favorite for shopping and dining with more than 250 stores and restaurants that range from fine dining to unique mom-and-pop diners.
Within walking distance of the Millbrook neighborhood is the Columbine Hills Park and the Columbine Sports Park. The Massey Draw Regional Trail runs through this park and joins with the Columbine Trail. There are baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a picnic shelter, a skate park and a playground for the kids.
