For a night out on the town there is a comedy club just southwest of Madison Hill. The Wits End Comedy Club is the second oldest comedy club, opening its doors in 1991, in the Denver/Boulder area and has become a well-established entertainment house. The club hosts several local comedians as well as traveling acts.

Carroll Butts Park contains both a natural park and an athletic park. It has indoor sports such as soccer, lacrosse and football. There are four baseball fields, a basketball court, and a tennis court in the park providing an exciting means of exercise and athletic competition for both young children and adults. The other parks in the area are great for biking, jogging, and picnicking along with several other outdoor activities for both the individual and the family.
