Highline Villages is a neighborhood in Aurora, Colorado. This neighborhood is framed by Alameda Avenue to the south, Havana Street to the west, Peoria Street to the east, and 1st Avenue to the north.
Residents of Highline Villages are surrounded by some of the best golfing in the Aurora area. With a large golf course to the east and west directly bordering the neighborhood, it is hard to avoid golf in this area. On the west side of the neighborhood is Common Good Golf Course, and on the east side is Aurora Hills Golf Course.
Area shopping is done about a mile to the east off of Alameda Avenue at the Town Center at Aurora. This large area mall features 125 different shops, many of which are major national brand names stores. Stores in the mall include Victoria’s Secret, Radio Shack, Old Navy, Hollister, Aeropostale, Express, Bath and Body Works, and numerous other shops. Surrounding the mall are other major stores including a Target that is located to the north. In the southeast corner of the mall parking lot is the Century Aurora 16. Century is a popular movie theater with families and teenagers throughout the area.
Northeast of the Town Center at Aurora is City Center Park. This popular area park isn’t known for the park itself as much as the facilities that are part of the park. City Center is home to the Aurora Police Department, Aurora History Museum, and the Aurora Public Library. The library is a popular destination for area students and job seekers looking to use the numerous computers and Internet. The museum is well known for providing a look through time at the history of Aurora and beyond.
