Goldsmith is a residential neighborhood in Denver, Colorado. The neighborhood is framed by Yale Avenue to the south, Interstate 25 to the west, Evans Avenue to the north, and Syracuse Way to the east.

Area recreation can be found in a variety of places, but the largest in the Goldsmith area is just south of Yale Avenue at James A. Bible Park. The large park has four baseball fields, four tennis courts, a basketball court, and a playground. The park is normally filled with families attending sports events as many area youth leagues use the park for baseball. The park is also filled with trails, making it a popular location for walkers, runners, and cyclists.

On the corner of Yale Avenue and Monaco Parkway inside of the Goldsmith neighborhood is the Colorado Athletic Club. This massive club is loved by many active adults throughout the community. The club has twelve tennis courts, a large fitness center, swimming pool, racquetball court, and basketball court. The athletic club also has classes for a wide variety of activities including aquatics, cycling, yoga, pilates, nutrition, and much more. There are tennis lessons available on one of the many courts. The club also has a tennis league and hosts many area competitions, as well.

Taking a trip a little over a mile to the north, you’ll find Cook Park. The park is popular for recreation, but is also a great area to pick up one of the most popular bike trails in the area. Following alongside Cherry Creek Drive is Cherry Creek Bike Path. This path provides several miles of trails that goes through several different parks, providing excellent scenery and numerous points of entry and exit from the trail. The bike path is meant for cyclists, however it is common to find runners and walkers on the path, as well.
