Dutch Creek Village is located in Littleton, a suburb of the City of Denver, Colorado. It is located in the unincorporated Jefferson County. The subdivision is just northeast of the intersection South Pierce Street and West Coal Mine Avenue. It is bordered on the north by West Caley Drive, and by Coal Mine Avenue on the south. It was subdivided in three filings, the first of which occurred in 1977. The two following filings occurred in 2000. There are approximately 185 homes in the subdivision. The median home sale price in this area is $427,000. The homes are single-family, custom-built, luxury residences.
The neighborhood is located near Clement Park, named after former county commissioner, Bob Clement, who was responsible for initiating the purchasing and funding of the park. The park was built in 1987. Some of its features include a skate park, three playgrounds, a concession stand, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, baseball fields, and restroom facilities. There are also 1.4 miles of lighted trails, as well as multi-use fields, batting cages, volleyball courts, an amphitheater, and picnic shelters. Fishing is also available in the 60-acre Johnston Lake.
Woodmar Square Park is just west of the Dutch Creek Subdivision. The park is a large, irrigated bluegrass area, with combined open-play areas and access to the Lily Gulch Regional Trail. There is also a playground, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a baseball field, and three multi-use athletic fields.
