The historic “Stone House” sits within the greenbelt and was built between 1859 and 1864. It dates back to Colorado’s Gold Rush days and is the first building in Lakewood to be added to the National Registry of Historic Places.

Local schools include Green Gables Elementary School, Westgate Elementary School and Carmody Middle School. Downtown Denver and the area’s surrounding amenities are just a short drive away from the Carmody neighborhood, making shopping, dining and entertainment options easy to access.
