Bear Valley is located in Littleton, which is in Denver County. The neighborhood is roughly bordered by West Yale Avenue on the north, Sheridan Boulevard on the east, West Hampton Boulevard on the south and on the west is South Wadsworth Avenue. The nearby Park at Bear Creek features natural areas, picnic shelters and tables, benches, drinking fountains and restrooms, soccer and softball fields, horseshoe pits and a bike/pedestrian path.
The area is served by Traylor Academy Grade School, Henry Junior High and Kennedy High School. Median Income is on par with the City of Denver and the area’s unemployment rate is less than the city’s average, at only 3 percent.
